White House aides ‘fully expect’ Mueller report to ‘contain embarrassing specifics for the president’: WaPo reporter

President Donald Trump’s spin on special counsel Robert Mueller’s report is at odds with what White House aides expect the full document to show, Washington Post White House reporter Ashley Parker explained.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter examined whether Trump’s claims of full exoneration would backfire on him when a redacted copy of the report is released to the public next week.

“Could Trump’s cries of ‘total exoneration’ become his own ‘Mission Accomplished’?” Parker wondered.

In her analysis piece, Parker dropped an interesting piece of news.

“Privately, White House aides and Trump allies say they fully expect the report to contain embarrassing specifics for the president,” she reported.
